Did you know that the word "Cancun" translates to "snake pit?" I don't think as many people would visit the place knowing that's what it means. We had a fabulous time--and we didn't see any snakes! The weather was a little overcast and rained a titch, but I won't complain of the 80 degree weather. We enjoyed our hotel--it definitely wasn't Ritz-Carlton, but it was worth the money we paid. The beaches were beautiful, the food was good, our rooms were clean, the trips to town and Tulum were fun, feeding apples to the iguanas was also fun, boogie boarding was exhilerating, walking on the beach and gathering seashells with my husband was relaxing, but the company was the best! I love hanging out with my husband. We always have a great time together! I also had a fantastic time with Chick and Dianne.
I'm glad you guys had a great time. I agree that Cancun should not tell people what the name translates to be. I'm deathly afraid of snakes so I was even hesitant to read your post in fear of seeing a picture of a snake.
