A new cousin--Jude Gabriel Davidson

While we were in Cancun, Jeff and Lucy had their third son, Jude Gabriel Davidson. He was 3 weeks early, but was still a good size boy--6 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches long. Last night, the kids and I spent the evening over there taking care of them (Lucy had to have a c-section) because Jeff had to go out of town. We had a fun evening with them. Cooper and Tate played non-stop on a Star Wars game. Maggie was a huge helper with Cole, Jude, and Allie, and I made soup and cinnamon rolls. Bathtime was a fun time too. Lucy hopefully got a little rest.

Back from "The Snake Pit"

Did you know that the word "Cancun" translates to "snake pit?" I don't think as many people would visit the place knowing that's what it means. We had a fabulous time--and we didn't see any snakes! The weather was a little overcast and rained a titch, but I won't complain of the 80 degree weather. We enjoyed our hotel--it definitely wasn't Ritz-Carlton, but it was worth the money we paid. The beaches were beautiful, the food was good, our rooms were clean, the trips to town and Tulum were fun, feeding apples to the iguanas was also fun, boogie boarding was exhilerating, walking on the beach and gathering seashells with my husband was relaxing, but the company was the best! I love hanging out with my husband. We always have a great time together! I also had a fantastic time with Chick and Dianne.

School Pictures

I just got their class pictures today! Just a little late don't you think, since they got them taken in the fall. They are cute though.

Captain Underwear and his sidekick, Pretty Panties

Cooper and Allie were asked to put their jammies on and this is what they came out wearing. (They did obey and have their jammies on.)

Happy New Year!!

Can you believe it is 2010?! I can't! 2009 just flew by. We had a great New Year's Eve --day and night. First we went sledding at a new hill here in Roy. Stacy and her kids spent the day with us as well as Jill's niece, Victoria. The kids had a blast. Cooper got to try out his new snowboard, but didn't do too much, but Brandon really had a ball with it and all of the other kids tried it too.

Ater sledding, we all went to The Princess and the Frog movie--minus Stacy's boys. We thought it was a very fun movie.

After that we headed home to get ready for our New Year's shindig with Kevin and Stacy's family. (My mom and dad came for dinner.) We played games, ate lots of yummy food--shrimp, cheesy chicken soup, white chile, chips, dips, chocolates, ice cream roll, and veggies--, chatted, the kids played, and we all watched movies--we had 3 different ones going at the same time: The Proposal, Matilda, and Fantastic 4. We then got out my bucket of instruments and really rang in the new year in the proper fashion--LOUDLY!!! Great Day!!
