This is how the day started off--all three with fevers.
Maggie is 'Muriel' from Fable Haven.
Cooper is 'Dracula'
Allie is my cute witch.
Cooper, Maggie, AllieToday started out at 6:30 a.m. with Maggie coming in telling me her temperature was 101.9 degrees. She asked if she was well enough to go to a birthday party and Trick or Treating tonight. "No sweetheart. We'll have to stay home." Crying and wailing sounds came from her room.
All week we have been home bound because of the flu. Cooper started out with it and then Allie and then me and now Maggie. Chris has escaped so far. Cross your fingers.
We are going to trick or treat around the house in different rooms in their costumes. Hopefully that will appease their not being able to go out.
May you all avoid the flu and have a great Halloween.

i think not trick or treating on halloween would be so so sad. i agree with maggie, however you had a great idea of trick or treating inside! you rock sallie!

I love the trick or treating around your house-maybe you could make it a junk or treat and for every item they pick up and put away, they can earn a candy. Then it's fun for everyone! Come to think of it, I might be willing to try that on a non holiday if I were desperate. I guess I better not eat the entire stash of confiscated candy-it might come in handy!
