A fun playground we found near the temple.

Allie posing.
A fountain outside the temple is always a big hit with kids.
All of us in the reception tent.We went with Teresa and her kids, minus Chick because he had a skin graft surgery on his foot last week, to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house and to the Kennecott Copper Mine today. We had such fun with them and to go see a new temple. Our kids were well behaved and had a great time. The girls all loved the Celestial room...it is very beautiful and Cooper said he didn't like any of it. He was kind of grumpy when I asked. After the temple and bathroom stop, we had lunch at a park. Our next stop was up to Bingham Canyon to the copper mine...the largest open pit mine in the world that you can see from space. It is 2 3/4 miles wide and 3/4 mile deep. We were all impressed by the grandeur of it. Wow! I remember going as a kid and thinking it was impressive then. It still is. We had a great day.

I think that's the biggest tire I've ever seen. I didn't know that you could go and tour the copper mine. That sounds really cool.
Hey! That's on our summer list too! This time I iwll leave Ashton home from the temple though. I think the rest of us will get alot more out of it.
this looks like fun! what a cool trip,
